Become a Founding Member

We invite local businesses to become Founding Members, free until 30 June 2027. No payment is required now and there is no automatic paid renewal.

Our local focus

The Collective’s objects centre on member businesses and the economic prosperity of Malaga and surrounding districts. They recognise businesses of different sizes and the contribution of a diverse local community. Under Rule 6.1, membership is open to businesses and other entities operating in Malaga or surrounding commercial and industrial districts, and people with a genuine interest in advancing the Association’s objects.

Prepare your business introduction

A clear introduction makes it easier for others to understand what you do. Describe your main products or services, the customers you help and your connection to Malaga. Identify the person who should receive membership communications and think about the topics or activities that interest your team.

Understand the membership commitment

Founding Membership is free until 30 June 2027. Any future paid membership offering from 1 July 2027 will be communicated separately, so you can decide whether to join. There is no automatic paid renewal. Membership is a relationship with the association, so take time to understand both the opportunities to participate and any applicable responsibilities.

Apply for free Founding Membership through 30 June 2027. No payment is collected and there is no automatic paid renewal. Applications require consideration at a Committee Meeting. We will send the decision in writing; submitting this form or verifying your email does not approve membership or voting rights.

Membership privacy notice

Malaga Commerce Collective Inc collects the details you enter to assess your membership application, contact you about the outcome and administer your membership if approved. Required fields help us process your application; the other fields are optional.

Your application is stored in our Growth Platform forms system. A notification is sent to [email protected], currently received by Mel Congerton, who shares applications with the Committee for approval. The website, forms and email service providers process information to operate these services.

If approved, your name and at least one contact address will be recorded in the member register. Access to the register and requests to restrict personal information are governed by Rules 8 and 23 of the Constitution. Submitting this form does not request a public business-directory listing.

The newsletter checkbox is a separate, optional choice. We will use that choice for newsletter communications; leaving it unticked does not affect your application.
