Malaga Commerce Collective brings businesses together to strengthen our precinct, support one another and create opportunities close to home.
Behind every workshop, warehouse, showroom and office is a team working to build something. Malaga brings those teams together in a diverse commercial and industrial community, where a supplier, a customer or a future collaborator may be just around the corner.
The Collective exists to help those connections happen. We give local businesses a shared focus: a precinct that works better for the people who invest, operate and earn their living here.
An independent operator and a national business can experience the same access issues, rely on the same roads and care about the same local environment. Bringing those perspectives together helps us understand the bigger picture and represent common interests more clearly.
Our purpose covers business advocacy, economic growth, safety, innovation, sustainability and member connection. These priorities belong together: a strong business community depends on both commercial opportunity and a good place to work.
We stand for practical collaboration with businesses, the City of Swan, government agencies and other organisations with an interest in Malaga’s future. Our approach is non-political and non-sectarian. We focus on local issues, informed discussion and shared outcomes.
That includes supporting conversations about infrastructure, transport, planning, lighting, amenity and the services businesses need to operate effectively.
The Collective brings the former Malaga Crime Management Forum under a broader business umbrella, continuing its focus on business safety awareness and community collaboration. The previous CCTV camera program is not continuing. Our wider purpose connects that safety focus with representation, business relationships and precinct development.
